“For six weeks I have been a patient at Courtyard Care Center. I have had a good healing experience. It stands out because it’s not like a regular nursing home. “I would like at this time, to drop you a note to thank the physicians, physical and occupational therapist and the entire staff for the level of care during my recuperation at your facility. I seldome write to express my gratitude because of my shy nature and personality. However, at this time, I would be remiss in my behavior if I did not acknowledge, and exemplify such professionalism at all levels I was cared for.
As you know, at the end of October 2007, I contracted an MRSA infection on my left eye. I was hospitalized and I was then transferred to Courtyard Care Center for my convalescence and rehabilitation. During my initial hospitalization and subsequent rehabilitation, I was very concerned about my general health and the possibility, that the MRSA would migrate to my right eye. In a ddition, this gave me some sleepless nights. Although my spirits we low at times, the staff remained encouraging with a positive decorum at all times.
It is my belief that Courtyard Care Center set superlative standards for the staff. In addition, it transcends through the staff with an unmatched level of compassion, care and benevolence for each resident at Courtyard Care Center.

My Aunt Hazel is now 96 years old. Within the last three years, she has lived in 10 different places, always requesting to return to Courtyard. She often mentions writing a book about “Effective Full Time Care.: Courtyard is definitely number one on the list. While living in her Bakersfield house, she commented, “This place is going to go out of business. They could take a lesson from the 3 C’s (Courtyard Care Center).
I definitely agree. You treat your patients with respect and dignity. Your employess enjoy their jobs and it is definitely reflected in the quality of care. I recently retired from Los Angeles School District. My expertise was personnel selection and plant management. Courtyard definitely deserves an A+++.

My mother, Genevieve A., was admitted to your facility on March 11, 2008 with the recommendation of her doctor. Dr. Tamara Maher assured me that she would admit her own mother there if necessary, as she likes the way the facility is administered and the way the patients are cared for.
She is not the only doctor that feels that way about your facility. Last week while visiting my mother I met another doctor and struck up a conversation with him. He commented that Courtyard Care Center is one of his favorites. His comment was that the facility is clean and well administered.
I am very happy that my mother is being cared for by group of caring and friendly individuals. I have noted that all patients are clean and well cared for. You have a number of activities for them. You make them feel, as close to being home as possibl.
My mother likes your facility. She tells me that the staff treats her with respect and kindness. She has commented a number of times “don’t move me from here, I like it here.”

We experienced the “Best of Care.”
I want to share my 88 year old mother’s stay. New to Courtyard Care Center, we were at ease from the start. Located within the residential neighborhood, parking was always available. You are always greeted with warmth and professionalism, the shinny floors and cleanliness is in the air. Beautiful paintings cover the walls and the secure outside courtyard is refreshing. A home like feeling is carried throughout, meals are varied with good flavor. The activity staff decorates for all the holidays, parties take place, entertainers perform, pet a dog, even a little girl visited with my mother. She loved her time in physical therapy, responding quickly. We highly recommend this small facility for personal care.
